Ümit Daman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Angelino Roldan made a huge save. Soda f c's Andy Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Falcão in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ümit Daman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angelino Roldan. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 27th minute, Norberto Tiadoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andy Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Abasto fútbol club's goalkeeper Angelino Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abasto fútbol club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Etor was slow to take the kick. During this time Soda f c's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Soda f c's corner Fabian Etor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelino Roldan quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Reno in the 35th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Andy Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Reno took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Garcia. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The supporters of Soda f c booed when Abasto fútbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürbüz Böke didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Soda f c's goalkeeper Andy Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Reno. The corner ended in Yngve Örtendahl almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abasto fútbol club's Angelino Roldan did a great save. In the 60thth minute of the game Ümit Daman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abasto fútbol club's Angelino Roldan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio-Paul Caniggia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Andy Garcia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alex Burgos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andy Garcia came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Burgos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 76th minute. In the 87th minute Ümit Daman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Tiadoro's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Soda f c supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Abasto fútbol club's performance. The match ended with a win for Abasto fútbol club.
