The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 7th minute of play. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sacronas Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute Denis Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Lon during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cuervos AFC booed when Sacronas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Lon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sacronas Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Stanislao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cuervos AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hernan Crespo was slow to take the kick. During this time Sacronas Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Stanislao in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Roldan saved Cuervos AFC from getting behind. Denis Stanislao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Petrigai in the 35th minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charles Teuma Castelletti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jorge Iribarren made a huge save. When Sacronas Futbol Club's Denis Stanislao in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Teuma Castelletti to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Iribarren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Petrigai in the 51st minute of play. Tymoteusz Sroki kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Denis Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacronas Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Stanislao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Roldan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuervos AFC made a substitution. Zacarias Valery replaced Cristo Ramond. Denis Stanislao scored 0-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Roldan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cuervos AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Esteban Txerran scored to the left of an out of position Evaristo Roldan, making the score, 0-4. 86 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Gorka came free, but Jorge Iribarren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Cuervos AFC's Maximino Illan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Iribarren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos AFC's zone, Denis Stanislao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Roldan came out of the goal and Denis Stanislao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Denis Stanislao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Roldan. Cuervos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Stanislao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sacronas Futbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
