Gimnasia y tiro were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Cuervos AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esben Nordborg took the corner. After taking down the ball on Gimnasia y tiro's corner Basilio Guillem fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evaristo Roldan quite easily take care of the ball. Evaristo Roldan was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Basilio Guillem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Basilio Guillem really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Esben Nordborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Evaristo Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Montrelle in the 43rd minute of the match. Cuervos AFC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Gimnasia y tiro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Concetto Lenzi took the corner. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Gimnasia y tiro made a substitution. Batuhan Modrić replaced Reynaldo Montrelle. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batuhan Modrić was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batuhan Modrić in the 53rd minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esben Nordborg was slow to take the kick. During this time Gimnasia y tiro's players had a chance to rest. Ismael Martxel charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Martxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cuervos AFC! Evaristo Roldan had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Esben Nordborg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esben Nordborg in the 100th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 101st minute Esben Nordborg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gimnasia y tiro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
