Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Gimnasia y tiro from getting a goal against them. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Montrelle in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes Sacronas Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esben Nordborg who took care of the corner kick. Jorge Iribarren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Montrelle in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gimnasia y tiro's zone, Denis Stanislao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wieslaw Panasewicz came out of the goal and Denis Stanislao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sacronas Futbol Club's Denis Stanislao got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Iribarren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Sacronas Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Txerran to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Iribarren having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Denis Stanislao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wieslaw Panasewicz, 1-0. Sacronas Futbol Club's Denis Stanislao got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Sacronas Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Mas to maneuver through the defense. Denis Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Panasewicz having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Bernardino Quintin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Denis Stanislao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wieslaw Panasewicz was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Gimnasia y tiro made a substitution. Batuhan Modrić replaced Reynaldo Montrelle. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Stanislao was the one to do the kick off. If Batuhan Modrić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Ted's late challenge caught a Gimnasia y tiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixto Ted helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Stanislao struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Wieslaw Panasewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacronas Futbol Club. After a rather tough play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Saul Lon got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Sacronas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Saul Lon hit a great ball. Jorge Iribarren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batuhan Modrić in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y tiro's Batuhan Modrić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Iribarren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Batuhan Modrić made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Iribarren. Sacronas Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Gimnasia y tiro players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
