Defensores del Albinegro's Lorenzo Lluterio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santos Hori in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luciano Jeranos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Santos Hori to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lefter Sönmez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Santos Hori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Jerano in the 19th minute. If Luciano Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Saturnino Diagur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Luciano Jerano came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Defensores del Albinegro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Jerano couldn't finish the play. Axl Rose's late challenge caught a Defensores del Albinegro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axl Rose helped the player get up and apologised. Axl Rose kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Defensores del Albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Lluterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Santos Hori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes, Moises Belo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Howling Dawn U18 and the Defensores del Albinegro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Moises Belo. If Luciano Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Axl Rose sent off a good shot on target. Defensores del Albinegro's Cornelio Merexildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Albinegro from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the game, Isaias Blasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Santos Hori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santos Hori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Jerano's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Luciano Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Hori having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Luciano Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Juan Bittor 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. In the 92nd minute, Juan Bittor made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Merexildo. Defensores del Albinegro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
