Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ian Rush got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Eloy Perutxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute of the match, Benvide Ponte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Danilo Urbasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 7th minute, Benvide Ponte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danilo Urbasa. The goal made the score 1-0. When Benvide Ponte came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Gallardo y Biscay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benvide Ponte couldn't finish the play. Danilo Urbasa was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Benvide Ponte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benvide Ponte really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Benvide Ponte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Danilo Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acheral's goalkeeper Danilo Urbasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Gallardo y Biscay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Rush came free, but Tiran Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benvide Ponte got free with Danilo Urbasa in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiran Piedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufio Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Acheral's Danilo Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benvide Ponte in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Gallardo y Biscay FC's Amado Sindo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Urbasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amado Sindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benvide Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Toro Cavenaghi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acheral's supporters rose to their feet, but Toro Cavenaghi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiran Piedra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Urbasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benvide Ponte went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Sindo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Benvide Ponte notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Acheral's Danilo Urbasa. Danilo Urbasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 54 minutes, Amado Sindo made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Acheral's Danilo Urbasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Sindo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Urbasa saved Acheral from getting behind. Acheral's Leopoldo Jacinto Luque was substituted for Toro Cavenaghi. Rufio Abalos got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ian Rush. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Benvide Ponte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gallardo y Biscay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benvide Ponte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Urbasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Costa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Benvide Ponte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Urbasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Acheral defense, Benvide Ponte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Urbasa. The Acheral fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Urbasa should have stopped the shot. Gallardo y Biscay FC's Cosme Mendebal was substituted for William Costa. Gallardo y Biscay FC's Federico Colas was substituted for Benvide Ponte. After 82 played minutes Gallardo y Biscay FC got a freekick which was hit by Hansmorten Adelsbro. If Ian Rush had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Federico Colas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Urbasa. Acheral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Colas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Colas in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Urbasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Daniel Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gallardo y Biscay FC booed when Acheral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Jacinto Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Acheral's zone, Federico Colas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Urbasa came out of the goal and Federico Colas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acheral's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
