The Cityzens Mdz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talleres were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Manuelo was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Cityzens Mdz's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Tunberg came free, but Melkior Thorslev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Talleres fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Talleres's Mauricio Manuelo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Cityzens Mdz's zone, Mauricio Manuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melkior Thorslev came out of the goal and Mauricio Manuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tab in the 65th minute of play forced Cityzens Mdz's goalkeeper Melkior Thorslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melkior Thorslev made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Alfredo Tab sent off a good shot on target. Talleres's 王竞耀 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Larra in the 70th minute of play. Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Cityzens Mdz from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Manuelo. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mauricio Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Manuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melkior Thorslev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th match minute, Cityzens Mdz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Marut to maneuver through the defense. Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 88th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Peker Durusoy. Cityzens Mdz's Lukasz Marut got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giandomenico Sella hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Cityzens Mdz's Bruno Kaiet was substituted for Johan Carbonero. After a rather tough play, Cityzens Mdz's Giandomenico Sella got a free kick in the 97th minute. Jorge Martínez shot from long distance in the 98th minute, but Melkior Thorslev was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When the final whistle sounded Talleres left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cityzens Mdz.
