T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Hake came free, but Alirio Ducoing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alirio Ducoing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Ryberg in the 9th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Anibal Lluques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Erhan İren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alirio Ducoing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aniceto Campello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Raymundo got free with Erhan İren in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Q. T. I.'s Julian Raymundo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
