An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Aires in the 34th minute of play forced Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalkeeper Tobias Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Aires received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The Argentinos Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Laurgain got free with Rigoberto Nazario in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Nazario made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Arnaldo Bastia sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Bastia.
