The Alpachiri AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Shantala should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xepe Godan in the 12th minute of play forced Alpachiri AFC's goalkeeper Roman Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Xepe Godan came free, but Roman Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal got control of the ball when Patricio Bartolome tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xepe Godan might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Alpachiri AFC booed when Talleres de Escalada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talleres de Escalada were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Alpachiri AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Acuña took the corner. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alpachiri AFC! In the 48th minute Santiago Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Serafin Bernal came out of the goal and Patricio Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Savier in the 71st minute of play. Alpachiri AFC's attack was well implemented in the 71st minute, but when Ladislao Savier was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 74th minute, Xepe Godan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Shantala was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When Xepe Godan came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Talleres de Escalada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xepe Godan couldn't finish the play.
