The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Quinteros was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Naike in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of El coca fc booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Benigno Gurutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vélez Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
