In the 7thth minute of the game Yin Wei Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HFA FC's Gordon Banks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 7 minutes, Yin Wei Yi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. HFA FC's Gordon Banks tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, HFA FC's Benjamin Abarca got a free kick in the 9th minute. Benedicto Ireno made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Hermengildo Gorka sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gordon Banks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Wei Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gordon Banks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yin Wei Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after HFA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Innocenzio took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Jeremias Felo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 23 minutes into the match, HFA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yin Wei Yi came free, but Gordon Banks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno got control of the ball when Alfonso Pacifico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gordon Banks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yin Wei Yi's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yin Wei Yi in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gordon Banks saved HFA FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Gorka got free with Benedicto Ireno in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yin Wei Yi in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gordon Banks saved HFA FC from getting behind. In the 44th minute Pablo Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by HFA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pablo Innocenzio was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's players had a chance to rest. In the 46th minute, Albino Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's attentive Cristo Karlo managed to snatch the ball when Benjamin Abarca made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márk Stephen got free with Gordon Banks in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márk Stephen. Gordon Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márk Stephen in the 68th minute of the match. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Gorka, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. HFA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Márk Stephen scored to the left of an out of position Gordon Banks, making the score, 0-2. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Anselmo Valiente was substituted for Jacobo Garin. Benedicto Ireno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Pacifico in the 87th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Márk Stephen sped through HFA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gordon Banks. After 93 played minutes HFA FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Abarca. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
