Diego Milito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickael Wuyts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The wind increased when Jacinto Rosio made the kick off in the second half. Domenico Galdi charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mickael Wuyts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Suárez's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Matías Suárez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mickael Wuyts. Bahía é Carnaval's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Suárez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Bahía é Carnaval made a substitution.
