In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petr Školník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Diego Milito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dário Tepedino was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Diego Milito made a precise shot to the right of Dário Tepedino. Barreal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Dário Tepedino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Diego Milito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Tepedino having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Milito came free, but Dário Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 65th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Yrigoyen.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Checa to maneuver through the defense. Yrigoyen.F.C's Matías Suárez was substituted for Diego Milito. After a defensive mix-up in Yrigoyen.F.C's zone, Jairo Eneko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petr Školník came out of the goal and Jairo Eneko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yrigoyen.F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Yrigoyen.F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barreal FC for a fine match.
