After taking down the ball on Club Deportivo Tecca's corner Reynaldo Senin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodoro Peio quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Mendez during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodoro Peio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Jusepe in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Baldomero Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Atlético Nacional's Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Ambrosio Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Deportivo Tecca getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ambrosio Jusepe hit a great ball. Samuel Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Primitivo Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rigoberto Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético Nacional's Teodoro Peio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Senin in the 40th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Reynaldo Senin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Teodoro Peio. In the 43rd minute Reynaldo Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Peio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Peio having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Senin made a kick off. Celestino Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Teodoro Peio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Jusepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes Atlético Nacional's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reynaldo Senin who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Atlético Nacional's goalie and right to Generoso Laurin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Atlético Nacional's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Teodoro Peio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Senin in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Tecca's Reynaldo Senin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Atlético Nacional getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Vicente Sasoin hit a great ball. If Ambrosio Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Matteo in the 70th minute of play forced Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Teodoro Peio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Abancens in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Peio saved Atlético Nacional from getting behind. Tomas Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Teodoro Peio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Baldomero Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the game, one of Atlético Nacional:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Teodoro Peio had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Reynaldo Senin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Reynaldo Senin took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Peio. Teodoro Peio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Armando Mateus hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Atlético Nacional's Carlos Alberto Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Generoso Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Peio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Atlético Nacional's Primitivo Mendez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Atlético Nacional's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
