After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Domingo Jago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Iigo came out of the goal and Domingo Jago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Hermansson in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo got control of the ball when Niclas Füllkrug tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodosio Iigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 94 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Merengue FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AZURDUY F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for AZURDUY F.C..
