Bonifacio Arias struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Bernardo Tarulli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOUTH THUNDER. 9 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Tarulli. Club Atlethico Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Club Atlethico Talleres's Bernardo Tarulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Arias in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Ranko Kvarantan made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Cordearo. SOUTH THUNDER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mauro Cordearo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlethico Talleres's Filomeno Pasqual. But to his dismay, Filomeno Pasqual quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 26th minute Slawomir Polkoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Pasqual in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Cordearo saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. Mauro Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bernardo Tarulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SOUTH THUNDER were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Club Atlethico Talleres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeronimo Errapel took the corner. Ranko Kvarantan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mauro Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeronimo Errapel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, SOUTH THUNDER's Germán Pezzella seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Germán Pezzella the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SOUTH THUNDER protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Germán Pezzella had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Germán Pezzella hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SOUTH THUNDER's Jeronimo Errapel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Tarulli. That made the score 3-2 after 57 minutes of play. When Valentin Sindo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOUTH THUNDER's protests and gave Valentin Sindo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Valentin Sindo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Club Atlethico Talleres's Ranko Kvarantan got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ranko Kvarantan, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's Augusto Procopio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Tarulli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ranko Kvarantan in the 90th minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Van Field. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Ranko Kvarantan sped through SOUTH THUNDER's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauro Cordearo. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlethico Talleres fans cheered their team off the field, for while SOUTH THUNDER had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
