Mogel Izcaray ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mogel Izcaray almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura did a great save. Desiderio Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mogel Izcaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Rosario Central FC's Juan Musso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Procopio in the 13th minute of play. Juan Musso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mogel Izcaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Endura having to interfere. Desiderio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Bieito in the 18th minute of play. Desiderio Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes, Mogel Izcaray made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mogel Izcaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's Mogel Izcaray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Endura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Musso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Errapel in the 44th minute of play. Juan Musso made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jeronimo Errapel sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute, Jeronimo Errapel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Musso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mogel Izcaray to make the kick off. When Rosario Central FC's Mogel Izcaray in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in SOUTH THUNDER's zone, Vinicio Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Endura came out of the goal and Vinicio Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mogel Izcaray in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Endura saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. Mogel Izcaray who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Desiderio Endura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Arias in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Musso saved Rosario Central FC from getting behind. Mogel Izcaray struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Desiderio Endura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central FC. Desiderio Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mogel Izcaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rosario Central FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
