Halil İbrahim Yeltekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Mercurio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Crottos Crotters F.C. had won, even though C. S. D. Pueyrredón had held more of the ball.
