Emiliano Martínez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Matia's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The supporters of C. S. D. Pueyrredón booed when Fecha Libre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kandemir Ülkü didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Rosario in the 8th minute of play. Fecha Libre's Norbert Pollák quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Romulo Matia, made in the 11th minute of the game. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Clodio in the 15th minute of play. Martins Palermo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Cordeal. Martin Cordeal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Martins Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Martin Cordeal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teobaldo Rosario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Emiliano Martínez made a huge save. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamiel Stessel in the 32nd minute of play forced C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Martin Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martins Palermo in the 36th minute of the match. After 37 minutes C. S. D. Pueyrredón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gavino Hodei who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalie and right to Gaston Caetano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Emiliano Martínez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 42nd minute of play. Martins Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Cordeal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Martin Cordeal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gaston Caetano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaston Caetano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fecha Libre's Ulises Hustaz was substituted for Gaston Caetano. Igli Tare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save C. S. D. Pueyrredón from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Igli Tare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Igli Tare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Cordeal. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igli Tare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. C. S. D. Pueyrredón made a substitution. Roch Siekierka replaced Edelmiro Nikola. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save C. S. D. Pueyrredón from getting a goal against them. Godofredo Reno made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carolo Eliazar. Igli Tare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Martin Cordeal made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Igli Tare notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal. Martin Cordeal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fecha Libre's Kamiel Stessel got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes C. S. D. Pueyrredón got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Gregory. Gavino Hodei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
