Angelino Inautzi started the match with the kick off. Bernardino Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Cordarrol in the 4th minute of the match. Santos Montel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Emilian Martinez made a huge save. Gustav Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Emilian Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Ren Zhi Ke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Ren Zhi Ke came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Inautzi got free with Emilian Martinez in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Atlético Rio Cuarto's Carlos Eduardo da Silveira to fire away a dangerous shot which Emilian Martinez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Angelino Inautzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilian Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelino Inautzi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute Angelino Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ren Zhi Ke made the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Zhi Ke in the 54th minute of play. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Gaston Gitano was substituted for Gustav Högström. In the 72nd minute, Angelino Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Angelino Inautzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emilian Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilian Martinez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Inautzi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Montel came free, but Emilian Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Alvaro Cordarrol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Dimas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
