An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 9th minute of play forced Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Bernardino Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Dimas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gu Chang Peng went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas got control of the ball when Gu Chang Peng tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Montel in the 17th minute of play. Bernardino Dimas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 18th minute. Gu Chang Peng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Bernardino Dimas made a huge save. Ripa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Inautzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Joel Tehas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Dimas having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Chang Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Inautzi in the 67th minute of play. Gu Chang Peng took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Dimas. Bernardino Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Ripa FC's Ricardo Bochini was substituted for Joel Tehas. Ripa FC made a substitution. Donato Torres replaced Gu Chang Peng. 81 minutes into the game, Ripa FC's Donato Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Dimas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 87 minutes into the match, Donato Torres notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas. Bernardino Dimas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Bochini, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Ripa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. There was no doubt that Ripa FC were the better team. Ripa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
