A nice corner shot did that Damião Granja got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angel Bero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Garompa's Angel Bero got control of the ball when Benedicto Medero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Angel Bero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chi-Chi Branca in the 20th minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper Emilian Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garompa were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Kaplan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Octavio Lluc took the corner. Garompa's Octavio Lluc was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilian Martinez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Angel Bero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Isidro Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilian Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes Kaplan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Octavio Lluc who took care of the corner kick. Angel Bero made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ren Zhi Ke sent off a good shot on target. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chi-Chi Branca, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute of the match Kaplan got a corner. Garompa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orlando Teofilio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alvaro Cordarrol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Angel Bero made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Octavio Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Orlando Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Bero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliodor Stelea hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Orlando Teofilio struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Angel Bero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaplan. After the first half Garompa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chi-Chi Branca to make the kick off. If Isidro Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Herena in the 62nd minute of the match. Angel Bero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Cordarrol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd match minute, Kaplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. The Kaplan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Garompa's performance. The match ended with a win for Garompa.
