After 58 played minutes Garompa got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Harri. Angel Bero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Inautzi in the 60th minute of play. If Eliodor Stelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Bero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Dimas made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Chi-Chi Branca sent off a good shot on target.
