Higinio Fix hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Clemente Artizar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristi Popovici in the 30th minute. Clemente Artizar was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Orlando Mena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Mena really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.
