The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Cleto Confesor put in a rough tackle. In the 22nd minute, one of Lobos de Carelia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lobos de Carelia. In the 26th minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but You Sheng Qi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez got control of the ball when Ernesto Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Baldovino's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. You Sheng Qi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Perico in the 33rd minute of the match. Lucas Jimenez hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, La Herradura FC's Yuri Alcântara got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Prospero Perico made the kick off in the second half. Prospero Perico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prospero Pericos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got You Sheng Qi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Baldovino in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Cortez saved Lobos de Carelia from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Perico got free with You Sheng Qi in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prospero Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without You Sheng Qi having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Lobos de Carelia's corner Horacio Oliverios fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and You Sheng Qi quite easily take care of the ball. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Brytan in the 76th minute of the match. With his leg You Sheng Qi managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Prospero Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Grillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Grillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Cortez. Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Grillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Xu Ran Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes La Herradura FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Txurio. After a defensive mix-up in La Herradura FC's zone, Prospero Perico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. You Sheng Qi came out of the goal and Prospero Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lobos de Carelia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
