Beat Kellenberger was slow to take the kick. During this time Divorciados FC's players had a chance to rest. 10 minutes into the match, VIEDMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Otsoa came free, but Luigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Fabricio Otsoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Divorciados FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrián Guillermo. In the 16th minute Cornelio Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Fabricio Otsoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luigi Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. VIEDMA FC's Luigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 23rd minute of play forced VIEDMA FC's goalkeeper Luigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fabricio Otsoa sped through VIEDMA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luigi Buffon. Divorciados FC's Ezequiel Centurión played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Guillermo in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Fabricio Otsoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes Divorciados FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo Uxio who took care of the corner kick. Angelo Beila tried in the game's 42nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Ezequiel Centurión. An annoying self made goal, 1-3. Ezequiel Centurión stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Guillermo's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After the first half Divorciados FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabricio Otsoa to strike the kick off in the second half. If Beat Kellenberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Otsoa in the 62nd minute of the match. Gabriel Junqueira hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Luigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beat Kellenberger in the 66th minute. Luigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Otsoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Divorciados FC booed when VIEDMA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Carl Pagnier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Fabricio Otsoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Luigi Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvaldo Dei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ezequiel Centurión tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Divorciados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes VIEDMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Dei. In the 87th minute, 柳昆铮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VIEDMA FC's Luigi Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save VIEDMA FC from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Jean Carl Pagnier made a precise shot to the right of Ezequiel Centurión. Divorciados FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The VIEDMA FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Divorciados FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
