An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Cheche in the 3rd minute of play forced San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Ulizes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Astudillo having to interfere. In the 12th minute Boğaç Altuncuoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Macario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Macario made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Boğaç Altuncuoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Sidro in the 17th minute of play. Aurelio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to San Lorenzo 11 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Martin Betadur hit a great ball. Marcos Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Berutti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Cheche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melquiades Lopes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. San Lorenzo 11's Silvio Asier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Berutti FC. The San Lorenzo 11 fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when San Lorenzo 11's Santiago Sidro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute, Santiago Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Sidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Julio Quirze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Santiago Sidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Betadur hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Lobo in the 59th minute of play forced San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berutti FC's Bruno Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Cheche. After having played for 69 minutes, Edelmiro Cheche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berutti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Cheche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Sebastian Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Reynaldo Raebert came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Berutti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Raebert couldn't finish the play. Martin Betadur hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Reynaldo Raebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boğaç Altuncuoğlu came free, but Bruno Macario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's Boğaç Altuncuoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Macario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelino Castulo came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelio Astudillo could save by the left post. In the 87th minute, Julio Quirze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo 11 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Julio Quirze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Macario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Berutti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Raebert to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Macario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Bucciarelli in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Lorenzo 11 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Berutti FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
