In the 3rd match minute, Metal Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Castro to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, C.A.C. 10's goalkeeper Moises Jaume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martín Palermo. Metal Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinaldo Castro in the 7th minute. The supporters of C.A.C. 10 booed when Metal Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Flink didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, C.A.C. 10's Moises Jaume got control of the ball when Marco Ireno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasil Štěpaník, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Antonio Eyague got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Faron in the 20th minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Francisco Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martín Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, C.A.C. 10's goalkeeper Moises Jaume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martín Palermo. If Martín Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasil Štěpaník in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, C.A.C. 10's goalkeeper Moises Jaume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martín Palermo. Moises Jaume was a little too slow when Martín Palermo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. Aristides Faron scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Nesor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Martín Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasil Štěpaník to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Francisco Nesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Faron. C.A.C. 10 were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Metal Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernesto Mastrangelo took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Vasil Štěpaník got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-2. 57 minutes into the match. Martín Palermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Moises Jaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metal Juniors's Sergio Dennis was substituted for Martín Palermo. 65 minutes into the match, C.A.C. 10's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Dennis came free, but Moises Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. C.A.C. 10 made a substitution. Gogo Izotz replaced Vasil Štěpaník. In the 69th minute of the match C.A.C. 10 got a corner. Metal Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernesto Mastrangelo ran over to the corner to take the kick. C.A.C. 10's Vladimiro Venceslao quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Haroldo Phelipe, made in the 71st minute of the game. 74 minutes into the game, Timoteo Gorosti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metal Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.C. 10 the free kick. In the 74th minute, Timoteo Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Dennis in the 77th minute of play forced C.A.C. 10's goalkeeper Moises Jaume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Nesor made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ernesto Mastrangelo sent off a good shot on target. Marco Ireno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Sergio Dennis made a precise shot to the right of Moises Jaume. C.A.C. 10's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Moises Jaume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Dennis, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Sergio Dennis took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moises Jaume. Moises Jaume dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 92 minutes into the game, one of C.A.C. 10:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. C.A.C. 10:s Moises Jaume showed great skill when he stopped Reinaldo Castro:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Izotz got free with Francisco Nesor in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 minutes, Nemesio Isusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metal Juniors and the C.A.C. 10 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A.C. 10 booed when Metal Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Isusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Metal Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
