Raul Jaizki kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, BAIRES's Gabriel Duarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caupolicán Damjan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BAIRES reached it. 22 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Caupolicán Damjan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Cambiasso. With a little luck, CF Scalonetos's Caupolicán Damjan got control of the ball when Marciano Cambiasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Miguel Iratze fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAIRES's protests and gave Miguel Iratze a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes BAIRES got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Iratze. Caupolicán Damjan made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Andres Cambiasso sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ubaldo Cambiasso took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Caupolicán Damjan to make any attempt to save it. Caupolicán Damjan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Cambiasso in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Cambiasso got free with Caupolicán Damjan in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Cambiasso in the 41st minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Caupolicán Damjan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Cambiasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caupolicán Damjan. CF Scalonetos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubaldo Cambiasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 44th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Iraido to maneuver through the defense. Andres Cambiasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Caupolicán Damjan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Cambiasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ubaldo Cambiasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAIRES's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Cambiasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caupolicán Damjan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Carvalho in the 53rd minute of play forced BAIRES's goalkeeper Anibal Cambiasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Cambiasso charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Cambiasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes BAIRES got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Cambiasso. After a defensive mix-up in CF Scalonetos's zone, Marciano Cambiasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caupolicán Damjan came out of the goal and Marciano Cambiasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Cambiasso struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Caupolicán Damjan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BAIRES. Raul Jaizki was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, one of CF Scalonetos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joaquin Cambiasso shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Tiago Gabriel Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Lucio Abajas got a free kick in the 96th minute.
