An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Kihlberg in the 15th minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Filomeno Atarrabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Bastia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Delmar Vermudo made a huge save. Rene Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Filomeno Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, san isidro's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Bastia came free, but Delmar Vermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Bastia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Delmar Vermudo made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rene Giraldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Atarrabi was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Gösta Kihlberg was the one to do the kick off. san isidro's Delmar Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Bastia in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th minute Saturnino Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, san isidro's Gösta Kihlberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filomeno Atarrabi. Filomeno Atarrabi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 60 minutes into the match, san isidro's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Bastia came free, but Delmar Vermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in san isidro's zone, Saturnino Bastia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Vermudo came out of the goal and Saturnino Bastia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Atarrabi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gösta Kihlberg sent off a good shot on target. When Saturnino Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Bastia couldn't finish the play. The supporters of san isidro booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rollo Kildemose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gösta Kihlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Filomeno Atarrabi made a huge save. Filomeno Atarrabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Sandaili made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anastasio Karlo immediately put the ball in play. In the 94th minute Gösta Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Kihlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over san isidro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A.D Atlético Villa Gesell throughout the match.
