Fabian Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tití Fernandes Braga in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Parker Nuñez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Umbruso was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 18 minutes Los Gaticidas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anier Rocendo who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Parker Nuñez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nico Fanta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Gaticidas's Claudio Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parker Nuñez in the 22nd minute of play. Fabian Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tití Fernandes Braga in the 26th minute of play. Fabian Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tití Fernandes Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parker Nuñez struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Claudio Umbruso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Momentum FC. Fabian Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Zhi Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elvio Panpili in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Benvido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes Los Gaticidas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anier Rocendo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Momentum FC's corner Anier Rocendo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudio Umbruso quite easily take care of the ball. Momentum FC's Parker Nuñez got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tití Fernandes Braga to make the kick off. Nico Fanta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Claudio Umbruso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lu Zhi Qi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabian Benvido firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arni Urb struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Lu Zhi Qi in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabian Benvido, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Los Gaticidas's Fábio Rochemback got a free kick in the 67th minute. Momentum FC made a substitution. Agustin Figueroa replaced Elvio Gasteiz. A collision led to Momentum FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marcelo Pello hit a great ball. Momentum FC's Rando Raudsoo was substituted for Parker Nuñez. Anier Rocendo's late challenge caught a Los Gaticidas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Rocendo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Gaticidas booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tití Fernandes Braga's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Los Gaticidas were awarded a corner. Fábio Rochemback went to the cornerflag to take it. 84 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goalkeeper Fabian Benvido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lu Zhi Qi. In the 86th minute, Los Gaticidas's Lu Zhi Qi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rando Raudsoo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Umbruso saved Los Gaticidas from getting behind. The supporters of Los Gaticidas booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rando Raudsoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Los Gaticidas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Gaticidas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
