Severo Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Lucas Alario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Vermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute, Aureliano Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match, Gösta Kihlberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severo Elequemedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 19 minutes into the game, Generoso Sandaili threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Arnaldo Furlan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Delmar Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Alario, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gösta Kihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Elequemedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Alario in the 29th minute of play forced san isidro's goalkeeper Delmar Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Pereyra charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Pereyra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Anier Pereyra. Rene Giraldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Elequemedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Giraldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Generoso Sandaili made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rene Giraldo immediately put the ball in play. After 41 minutes, Rollo Kildemose mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell and the san isidro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's zone, Generoso Sandaili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Elequemedo came out of the goal and Generoso Sandaili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute Lucas Alario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, san isidro's Severo Elequemedo threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gösta Kihlberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gösta Kihlberg was the one to do the kick off. Anastasio Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Rutenio made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anastasio Karlo. If Lucas Alario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severo Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Kihlberg in the 60th minute of the match. Delmar Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Alario, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, san isidro's Rene Giraldo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With his leg Delmar Vermudo managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. san isidro's Cristo Neto was substituted for Cleto Camerino. 71 minutes into the game, Amancio Silban threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Arnaldo Furlan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 73rd minute Rene Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Alario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmar Vermudo. That made the score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. Lucas Alario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Vermudo having to interfere. Anier Pereyra shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Alario in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Vermudo saved san isidro from getting behind.
