Aquiles Lapurdi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Ladio went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Aquiles Lapurdi was a little too slow when Mario Emmanuel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Dominico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mario Emmanuel came free, but Aquiles Lapurdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Aquiles Lapurdi made a huge save. Aquiles Lapurdi made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Mario Emmanuel sent off a good shot on target. Hydra's Orlando Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Maule in the 33rd minute of play. Aquiles Lapurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Aquiles Lapurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Ladio in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Mario Emmanuel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Lapurdi. Dominico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Emmanuel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Leopoldo Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Hydra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Ladio couldn't finish the play. When Hydra's Leopoldo Ladio in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mario Alberto Millar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Lapurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Bernardo Lesardo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dominico F.C.'s protests and gave Bernardo Lesardo a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardo Lesardo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Laurin Roca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Lapurdi. Dominico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurin Roca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 87th minute Delmar Kismi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Lapurdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Mario Alberto Millar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Aquiles Lapurdi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquiles Lapurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Caradaro in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hydra fully deserved thier win.
