Dominico F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xencio Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Lapurdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Efraim in the 10th minute of the match. Aquiles Lapurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Santio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Dominico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Orlondo to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Lesardo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Baltasar Bertin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Julian Efraim might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquiles Lapurdi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Efraim ran back to his position shaking his head. After 27 played minutes Dominico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Ondino. 28 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's Everardo Joey broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aquiles Lapurdi was a little too slow when Nunez Larra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 47 played minutes Dominico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Ondino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Efraim got free with Aquiles Lapurdi in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56thth minute of the game Julian Efraim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dominico F.C.'s Aquiles Lapurdi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celso Walme charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Walme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Efraim in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Lapurdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeo Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xencio Millan having to interfere. Cardiff City FC's Paulo Lorencio was substituted for Celso Walme. After a rather tough play, Cardiff City FC's Everardo Joey got a free kick in the 71st minute. Everardo Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With his leg Xencio Millan managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Dominico F.C.'s Alberto Marin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cardiff City FC's Paulo Lorencio suffered a sore foot after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dominico F.C.'s Bernardo Lesardo got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute.
