With an all-out effort, Errecaborda AFC's Martin Abadia threw himself towards the right post 2 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Sandalio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidro Gines kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Abadia. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 7th minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Candido Ospin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Verdun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Martin Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Gines in the 12th minute of the match. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Cervera in the 20th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Abadia was a little too slow when Isidro Gines got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Cervera in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmond Verdun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st match minute, Los Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Ospin to maneuver through the defense. Martin Abadia made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Isidro Gines sent off a good shot on target. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Ospin in the 37th minute of play. Pastor Ado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Martin Abadia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Gines got free with Martin Abadia in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Ospin during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Candido Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Cervera to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Edmond Verdun managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Los Piratas FC's Jorge Cervera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Cervera did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Edmond Verdun 54 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Los Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Martin Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Piratas FC's Martin Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gines in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Ospin in the 64th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Ospin in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmond Verdun saved Errecaborda AFC from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Los Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Jerardo came free, but Martin Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Piratas FC's goalkeeper Martin Abadia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Piratas FC defense, Mauro Rameriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Abadia. The Los Piratas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Abadia should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute Alonzo Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Verdun was a little too slow when Herald Roockeloes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 3-3. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Hipolito Neron replaced Miguel Savion. When Errecaborda AFC's Isidro Gines in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Piratas FC's goalie prevented a goal. With 89 minutes on the clock, Nicasio Pero commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Errecaborda AFC's Rogelio Jakes was substituted for Aírton Urbano. In the 89th minute, one of Los Piratas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Piratas FC. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Errecaborda AFC. Pastor Ado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Martin Abadia. 4-3. The Los Piratas FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Errecaborda AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
