An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Duca in the 3rd minute of play forced Universitario Pincharrata's goalkeeper Javier Frederik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Universitario Pincharrata's goal looked a bit too open when Fan Xing Zhou came free, but Javier Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Jaunti scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruperto Maria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Gopala Pillai hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Javier Frederik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Martinez's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Universitario Pincharrata's Javier Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Xing Zhou in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Marangoni got free with Ruperto Maria in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Universitario Pincharrata made a substitution. Eleuterio Galo replaced Raul Jaunti. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costin Duca made a kick off. Eleuterio Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Maria having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Duca got free with Javier Frederik in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fan Xing Zhou took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Frederik. Javier Frederik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Salmuera CP eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
