Angelo Enetz made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Feliciano Baumar. After some careless play in the Scofield defense, Kent Lindberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Valente. The Scofield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Valente should have stopped the shot. Mercado Paulista F.C's Kent Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mercado Paulista F.C's 董希雄 was substituted for Kent Lindberg. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliciano Baumar made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Fernan Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 董希雄 in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Scofield's Feliciano Baumar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Beliran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mercado Paulista F.C getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Atilano Acosta hit a great ball. Mercado Paulista F.C's Victoriano Escobar was substituted for Atilano Acosta. Mercado Paulista F.C's Felix Marino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mercado Paulista F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
