Waldir Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Ariando in the 80th minute of play. C. S. The referee ignored C. S. Peron y Belgrano's protests and gave Eulalio Marino a yellow card for diving instead. The C. S. Peron y Belgrano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Universitario Pincharrata were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
