Javier Frederik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Ryan West had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Urbasa. Gladiadores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryan West was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ryan West could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Daniel Urbasa made a huge save. Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiadores from getting a goal against them. Claudio Marangoni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Urbasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Blas Beila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Javier Frederik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Frederik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Pettinelli in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Marciano Pettinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Ascacíbar kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Gladiadores's Pablo Innocenzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Frederik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryan West stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ryan West had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Marangoni in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute Marciano Pettinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Blas Beila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Javier Frederik. That made the score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Blas Beila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Frederik was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Marciano Pettinelli scored 2-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Frederik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gladiadores's Albino Belo was substituted for Blas Beila. The supporters of Universitario Pincharrata booed when Gladiadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan West in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Universitario Pincharrata's goalkeeper Javier Frederik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Belo. 93 minutes into the match, Universitario Pincharrata's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Pettinelli came free, but Javier Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Gladiadores's Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
