Alvaro Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Feliciano Baumars short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Waldir Araújo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Baldomiro Tximitx replaced Placido Montay. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Roberto-Carlos Brasil got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gusmão Azeredo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valerius Ginsberg in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldir Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Urdin in the 85th minute of play. Gabriel Milito kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Scofield fully deserved thier win.
