With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Regis in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Sanchez-Garcia saved Aston Birra F.C. from getting behind. Kalessin's Raimundo Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Fenton in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Raphael Fenton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Aznaro. Kalessin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphael Fenton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 15th minute, Aston Birra F.C.'s Harry Billvall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raimundo Aznaro. Raimundo Aznaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Yavuz Selimhan Sinan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Ted in the 23rd minute of play forced Kalessin's goalkeeper Raimundo Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Sanchez-Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Tadeo Cordarin replaced Zeledon Pinto. 85 minutes into the match, Kalessin's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Aguirre came free, but Raimundo Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
