In the 17th minute Harry Billvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paunero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anier Ted was slow to take the kick. During this time Aston Birra F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After 20 played minutes Aston Birra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anier Ted. Aston Birra F.C.'s Luciano Sanchez-Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Aston Birra F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Francesco Cilli got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Zeledon Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Aston Birra F.C.'s Anier Ted made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albino Inguma was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Aston Birra F.C.'s Luciano Sanchez-Garcia got control of the ball when Francesco Cilli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristide Iureș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Sanchez-Garcia having to interfere. Paunero's Albino Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Ted in the 38th minute of play. Albino Inguma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Ted's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Pinto in the 45th minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Albino Inguma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Paunero's Francesco Cilli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luciano Sanchez-Garcia. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Ederono stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albino Inguma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Billvall in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Ederono in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Sanchez-Garcia saved Aston Birra F.C. from getting behind. Albino Inguma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Billvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Aston Birra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Ederono came free, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Paunero were awarded a corner. Jose Rosario went to the cornerflag to take it. Ata Cante made a great header on Paunero's corner, it was just that Aston Birra F.C.'s Luciano Sanchez-Garcia managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute Paunero were awarded a corner.
