When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tadeo Ederono sped through Club Atlético Magallanes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jimeno Nevada. Albino Inguma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Rami in the 33rd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Paunero's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Rami came free, but Albino Inguma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Inguma came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün. But to his dismay, Taci Argün quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

Club Atlético Magallanes made a substitution. Manoel Barros replaced Tadeo Precioso. Jimeno Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the game, Paunero's Francesco Cilli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 90th minute, Paulino Eguerdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Inguma made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Gavino Rami sent off a good shot on target. Fermin Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Magallanes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paunero.
