Rigoberto Mikeldi started the match with the kick off. Carlo Amadei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Thomas went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Remigio Ishmael got a free kick in the 10th minute. Haroldo Martxot struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Carlo Amadei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Maradona. 15 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Amadei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Las Momias F. C. from getting a goal against them. Hipolito Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Cordeiro. Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Las Momias F. C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Thomas in the 31st minute of play forced Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper Carlo Amadei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Thomas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei. Carlo Amadei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Thomas in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Amadei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Ratan Ayala. In the 39th minute Rigoberto Mikeldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodolfo Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rdth minute of the game Rigoberto Mikeldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Cordeiro made a kick off. When Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Las Momias F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Rodolfo Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carlo Amadei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Las Momias F. C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hipolito Jerico hit a great ball. After 62 minutes Santa Maradona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serter Bozlak who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Las Momias F. C.'s Mauricio Gaitano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Jerico in the 65th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Errapel came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Las Momias F. C.'s Hipolito Jerico. But to his dismay, Hipolito Jerico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Santa Maradona getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ratan Ayala hit a great ball. Hipolito Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rigoberto Thomas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Amadei was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Santa Maradona were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Las Momias F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Haroldo Martxot took the corner. When Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Las Momias F. Despite being the better team, Santa Maradona failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
