Alonzo Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Errapel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Alonzo Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Lazcano came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Transito in the 20th minute of play forced BEIJO CARNAVAL's goalkeeper Godfredo Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Errapel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Lazcano's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Lazcano in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Errapel saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. Alonzo Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute Alonzo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Errapel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Lazcano's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Lazcano in the 31st minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Alonzo Lazcano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BEIJO CARNAVAL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristian Paulin in the 45th minute. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Cristian Paulin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Errapel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Haroldo Martxot hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Haroldo Martxot got a free kick in the 48th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Cristian Paulin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Errapel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Lazcano was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to BEIJO CARNAVAL getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alonzo Lazcano hit a great ball. Alonzo Lazcanos short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Jonathan Errapel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Errapel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonzo Lazcano in the 64th minute. Godfredo Abarca came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. BEIJO CARNAVAL made a substitution. Aggelos Lazopoulos replaced Rigoberto Olayo. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Ernesto Dei was substituted for Romulo Arias. Dorival Sarmento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Errapel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Godfredo Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 79 in the game by Dorival Sarmento from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Errapel managed to make a qualified save. Santa Maradona's players were relieved. Dorival Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Errapel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Sarmento got free with Jonathan Errapel in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Sarmento in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Errapel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute of the match BEIJO CARNAVAL got a corner. Santa Maradona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Paulin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adam Jönsson in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Errapel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 92 minutes Santa Maradona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristian Paulin who took care of the corner kick. Santa Maradona were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BEIJO CARNAVAL for a fine match.
