The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Diego Maradona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matias Bilintx's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, 郑阳洋 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 郑阳洋 made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Matias Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Silvanito in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Cordoba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Furia Albiceleste's 郑阳洋 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Maradona in the 20th minute of play. Matias Bilintxs short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got 郑阳洋 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 郑阳洋 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wayne Rooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Furia Albiceleste's 郑阳洋 got control of the ball when Venancio Emesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Silvanito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Óscar Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Furia Albiceleste's Leon Silvanito made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! 郑阳洋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Maradona in the 40th minute of play. Leon Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Cordoba having to interfere. When Leon Silvanito came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Furia Albiceleste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Silvanito couldn't finish the play. Diego Maradona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Bilintx made a kick off. If Leon Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Furia Albiceleste's Ramon Quinito was substituted for Leon Silvanito. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting de Gijón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvio Marquez was slow to take the kick. During this time Furia Albiceleste's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Silvio Marquez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Óscar Cordoba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Furia Albiceleste's goalie prevented a goal. When Matias Bilintx came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Sporting de Gijón fans jumped to their feet. A sloppy throw-in by Rune Fanström in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Furia Albiceleste's Leonardo Sigal. Ramon Quinito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Óscar Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes Sporting de Gijón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvio Marquez who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Furia Albiceleste's Silvio Marquez to fire away a dangerous shot which Óscar Cordoba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Matias Bilintx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Furia Albiceleste's 郑阳洋 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Bilintx in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bilintx in the 93rd minute of play forced Furia Albiceleste's goalkeeper 郑阳洋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Matias Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Gijón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
