Baldomero Urbasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After some careless play in the Santhiagos Feli Club defense, Elpidio Guillelmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Urbasa. The Santhiagos Feli Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Urbasa should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Santhiagos Feli Club's Matias Dimas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Betadur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LA DEL MONO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santhiagos Feli Club the free kick. After 60 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Ospetsu. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santhiagos Feli Club's goalkeeper Baldomero Urbasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Caitano in the 63rd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Adan Caitano notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur. Fabio Betadur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute Matias Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Esteban Criston hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Adan Caitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Betadur was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Haroldo Eutor got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adan Caitano. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Eugenio Truylos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Haroldo Eutor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Betadur. LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elpidio Guillelmo's late challenge caught a Santhiagos Feli Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Guillelmo helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Guillelmo. In the 97th match minute, Santhiagos Feli Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Caitano to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LA DEL MONO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
