The supporters of Cuervo Loco FC booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervo Loco FC's zone, Severino Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Stelea came out of the goal and Severino Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bogdan Stelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Gabrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Elvio Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Martínez in the 21st minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuervo Loco FC's Bogdan Stelea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Cuervo Loco FC from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco De la Maza having to interfere. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Martínez in the 33rd minute of the match. Bogdan Stelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Damaso Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loco De la Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Gianluca Vialli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Stelea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lautaro Martínez was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Martínez came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gianluca Vialli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Stelea was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Bogdan Stelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 59th minute of play. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Kang Zhen in the 66th minute of play. Olaf Ciempa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Cuervo Loco FC made a substitution. Leonardo Ponzio replaced Zé Pedro Coelho. After 77 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Ciempa. Loco De la Maza made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Liu Le Chen sent off a good shot on target. When Gianluca Vialli came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Vialli couldn't finish the play. Bogdan Stelea came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli. But to his dismay, Gianluca Vialli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The Falckner FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
