Rogelio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niceto Burni hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Sefer got free with Rogelio Barbosa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rogelio Barbosa was a little too slow when Ahmet Sefer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Fragiskos Koukoulekis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dibag Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Cristobal Peio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Fragiskos Koukoulekis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Los Diablos Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fragiskos Koukoulekis couldn't finish the play. Mati Suárez might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogelio Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mati Suárez ran back to his position shaking his head. Dibag Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fragiskos Koukoulekis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fragiskos Koukoulekis to strike the kick off in the second half. Fragiskos Koukoulekis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Dibag Martinez made a huge save. After 52 minutes La Pantera Azulgrana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Jaunzuria who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Javier Jaunzuria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dibag Martinez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rogelio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mati Suárez, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Nicolas Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match, Fragiskos Koukoulekis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dibag Martinez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Los Diablos Rojos's Teodoro Hernandez got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Ahmet Sefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fragiskos Koukoulekis in the 63rd minute of play forced La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Diablos Rojos's Fragiskos Koukoulekis got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fragiskos Koukoulekis got free with Dibag Martinez in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mati Suárez made a great header on La Pantera Azulgrana's corner, it was just that Los Diablos Rojos's Rogelio Barbosa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 86th minute, Ahmet Sefer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of La Pantera Azulgrana booed when Los Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pantera Azulgrana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
